What you share with me in a session, by email or through the contact form stays with me. I do not pass on any content from our work together to third parties. Below you will find which data is collected when visiting this website and when getting in touch, and what happens with it.

Applicable legal bases

The Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) applies. Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to individual processing activities, I also comply with its requirements. Depending on the case, the basis for processing is the initiation and performance of a contract, the legitimate interest in the secure operation of the website, or your consent.

Visiting the website

When you access the website, your browser transmits technically necessary data to the hosting provider's server. This data is stored in server log files: IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, amount of data transferred, browser type, operating system and language setting, as well as the referring page.

The purpose is the technical operation, stability and security of the website. This data is not merged with your person. The log files are deleted automatically after a short time. The hosting provider processes the data as a processor exclusively according to my instructions.

Cookies and tracking

This website uses only technically necessary cookies or comparable storage technologies, for example to store the selected language.

There is no web tracking and no audience measurement. No data is analysed for advertising purposes or passed on to advertising networks. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; the website generally remains usable.

Getting in touch

If you use the contact form, your name, email address and the content of your message are transmitted to me. I use this information exclusively to answer your enquiry and to prepare a possible collaboration.

If you contact me by email, phone or WhatsApp, I process the information arising from this for the same purpose. In the case of WhatsApp, the provider's terms additionally apply, and I have no influence on its data processing. If you would like to avoid this, please use email or phone.

Enquiries that do not lead to a collaboration are deleted as soon as they have been dealt with. If an engagement arises, I keep the necessary documents for as long as the collaboration and the statutory retention periods require.

Sessions and particularly sensitive data

In the course of our work, you may share information with me that qualifies as particularly sensitive personal data, for example details about health, philosophical beliefs or private life.

The following applies:

• You decide for yourself what you tell me. Disclosure is voluntary and based on your consent.
• I treat this content confidentially and do not pass it on to third parties, unless you expressly consent or I am legally obliged to do so.
• I keep notes to the necessary minimum and store them securely.
• Please do not send particularly sensitive content through the contact form or by unencrypted email; discuss it in direct conversation instead.

Online sessions take place via a video conferencing service. Connection data and conversation content are transmitted via the provider's infrastructure. Recordings are only made with your express prior consent.

Disclosure to third parties

I only pass on personal data where this is necessary for the purposes mentioned, in particular to the hosting provider of this website, to the provider of the form and email delivery, to the provider of the video conferencing solution, and to authorities and courts where I am legally obliged to do so. Contracts are in place with these service providers ensuring processing only according to my instructions and an adequate level of data protection.

Disclosure abroad

Some of the providers used are based outside Switzerland, in particular in the European Economic Area and in the USA. From a Swiss perspective, the EEA has an adequate level of data protection. For transfers to the USA, I rely on the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where the recipient is certified, and otherwise on the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission. Despite these measures, it cannot be ruled out that foreign authorities may access data under certain conditions.

Data security

The website is delivered encrypted via TLS, recognisable by "https" in the address bar. Access to my systems is protected with strong passwords and, where possible, with two-factor authentication. However, absolute security in transmission over the internet does not exist.

Your rights

Within the scope of applicable law, you have the right to information about the data processed about you, to correction of inaccurate data, to deletion, to release or transfer of your data in a common format, to object to certain processing activities, and to withdraw consent given with effect for the future. Where the GDPR applies, the right to restriction of processing and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority also apply.

An informal message to contact@ines-schuenemann.com is sufficient to exercise these rights. For security reasons, I may request proof of identity. Individual rights may be limited by legal requirements.

The complaints authority in Switzerland is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), Feldeggweg 1, 3003 Bern, www.edoeb.admin.ch.

Automated decisions

No automated individual decision-making and no profiling take place.

Changes

I may adapt this privacy policy at any time, for example if services or legal requirements change. The version published on this website at the time applies.
